Since 1982, Helen Lesser has been providing Curative Hypnotherapy so has over 40 years’ experience of using hypnosis to help people fulfil their potential and achieve the contented, rewarding life they deserve.
Based in south Birmingham, on the edge of Solihull, Helen Lesser is accredited by the Hypnotherapy Association and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council and is therefore on the accredited register of the Professional Standards Authority. She holds the Diploma in Curative Hypnotherapy and is a fully licensed Lesserian Curative Hypnotherapist.
In addition, Helen is an approved Supervisor – providing mentoring, coaching and supervision to other hypnotherapists around the UK.
Helen’s extensive knowledge and experience in practice lead to significant advances in the field of LCH treatment which are now taught by the Hypnotherapy Training College using the teaching methods she devised.
She is also a prolific contributor to the LCH Knowledge Base – the ‘go to’ resource of practical guidance and advanced training used by all LCH practitioners and many curative hypnotherapists around the world who are committed to their own continued professional development.

- Registered by the CNHC (Complementary Natural Healthcare Council).
- A registered Supervisor for hypnotherapists.
- A Full Member of the IHA (International Hypnotherapy Association).
- A Certified Examiner in Curative Hypnotherapy and LCH treatment.
Helen’s Experience
Helen ran her successful practice in Kings Heath, Birmingham, between 1982 and 2001, when she moved to a purpose-built consulting room in Yardley Wood, Birmingham.
Over the years she has helped to change the lives of many people, of all ages and backgrounds.
Helen regularly updates her training, skills and professional development by attending courses, conferences, seminars and being involved in discussions, think tanks and professional networks.
Specialising in the most advanced use of hypnosis – Lesserian™ Curative Hypnotherapy – Helen has been a TUTOR for the Hypnotherapy Training College, Birmingham since 1988, before she took over as Principal of the College in 2001.
In May 2002, Helen was honoured by the membership of the Association of Qualified Curative Hypnotherapists when, by unanimous vote, they awarded her a Fellowship of the AQCH. On accepting this honorary title for ‘meritorious service’ she was “Proud, touched, honoured and almost speechless!”
For twenty consecutive years (since 1985) she was re-elected on to the Committee by the members of the Association of Qualified Curative Hypnotherapists (Registered Charity No: 294512) until she stepped down from office in May 2005.
