Information Collected by Online Contact Forms

This information is collected for the purpose of responding to enquirers.   I may use the email submitted to send future communications for the purpose of following up on enquiries. Additional information you provide may be used in your therapy sessions where appropriate.  Contact details are used for these purposes only and are never shared with any third parties.

Information Collected During the Initial Consultation

Information shared with me at the initial consultation or in subsequent conversations or therapy sessions is kept safe, secure and confidential at all times.    Information shared during appointments is not kept electronically and is used to help me in providing treatment for you.

Anonymised data is used for practice management and to ensure treatment standards are maintained.  This includes but is not limited to age, gender, symptom(s) treated, treatment modalities, number and outcome of therapy sessions, method of referral.

Information Collected From the Website.

I use statistics software to track user traffic patterns throughout the site by the use of cookies. This information is anonymous and is not connected with any individual user.  This data allows me to maintain website performance and ensure it functions as required, by providing the information users seek.

This site uses Google Analytics to help improve the site and to monitor any problems. These tools may set cookies to allow their software to track activity on our site. Sharing of Information

I do not share personally identifiable information with any third party, except where I am required to do so to comply with any applicable law, to process transactions (e.g. payments), to enforce our site policies, or protect my or others’ rights, property, health or safety.

Reference to anonymised case histories may be made in teaching, supervising or mentoring my students or in peer support groups with other hypnotherapists and does not breach professional confidentiality.

Storage

I maintain industry standard security software to protect electronically held information and secure storage facilities for hardcopy records. All security and privacy policies and practices are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and I alone have access to the information.

I am required to keep treatment records for ten years (or five years after the age of 18, whichever is the later).  After this time, all information is securely destroyed..
